Arby’s Foundation Grants $10,000 To Food Bank of Siouxland

For a third consecutive year, the Arby’s Foundation has chosen the Food Bank of Siouxland as a grant recipient. The foundation has awarded the Food Bank a $10,000 grant in an effort to support ending childhood hunger.

Funds from this grant will go toward the Food Bank of Siouxland’s BackPack Program: Food for Kids, providing a sack of food for children who might otherwise have little to no food for over the weekend. The program currently serves 10 area elementary schools.

“With this grant, we are able to feed more families of Siouxland which is at the core of our mission at the Food Bank of Siouxland,” says Executive Director Jacob Wanderscheid. “Thank you to the Arby’s Foundation for selecting us.”

The Arby’s Foundation has committed $500,000 to support every community where Arby’s has a restaurant. In total, the Foundation anticipates giving out nearly 200 local grants across the U.S.
